ALL Zoom recordings will be deleted on June 6th, 2022 unless you contact the CTL to preserve them.

Zoom is not going away. However, Zoom cloud recordings will now be hosted in Panopto rather than Zoom. Panopto is an easy-to-use lecture capture and video content management tool that includes “unlimited” storage.  

Panopto already includes a copy of any recordings that were created after Jan 6, 2022.  If you need a recording that is saved in Zoom that was recorded before Jan 6th, 2022 you need to download it, move it to Panopto, or contact the CTL before June 6th.  User guides for these processes are here: https://ctl.humboldt.edu/content/panopto-hsu.

Future Zoom recordings will be automatically uploaded and saved to Panopto, where you can view, edit, and share your work if desired. They will not be saved in Zoom.
