Special Enrollment Period: February 1, 2020 - February 29, 2020 for coverage to be effective April 1, 2020

Effective January 1, 2020 the CSU will be offering Critical Illness and Accident Insurance through The Standard. AFLAC​'s critical illness coverage will terminate on December 31, 2019. Critical Illness Insurance helps employees manage expenses during a serious illness such as, heart attack, sever stroke or invasive cancer. Participants can use the benefit, which is paid to them in a lump sum, for deductibles, copayments, rent or groceries as the employee or a family member recovers.

**Save the Date!  The Standard will be on campus hosting two info sessions regarding the Critical Illness & Accident Insurance:

When: Monday February 10, 2020
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. & 3 p.m. – 5p.m.
Where: Goodwin Forum, Nelson Hall East room 102

To enroll during the special enrollment period, use one of the following options:
1. Complete the enrollment at standard.benselect.com/csu. For more information about how to apply for this important coverage or if you have additional questions including technical assistance please contact The Standard at 800.378.5745.
2. Complete the Enrollment Form and The California State University Payroll Deduction Authorization form and return them to The Standard at the following address.
