This version corrects the start date of the abatement work.

Facilities Management has scheduled contractors to abate asbestos floor tiles on the first floor of Siemens Hall starting May 27th and continuing through June 6th. During this phase of work the first floor of Siemens Hall will be closed to all employees. To ensure safe abatement, the first floor will be properly sealed and the ventilation will be shut down. The second floor will still be accessible to all employees who currently have exterior door access. 

The following arrangements have been made for students and employees to access the impacted departments.

• The Dean of Students office will be relocating to the Youth Educational Services (Y.E.S) Office, Lower Library, Suite 1. For support and service information, their office will be able to be contacted using the DOS Office main line at 707-826-3504

• Human Resources will have staff on-site and available during this time in SBS 405. For all other Human Resources needs, please continue to communicate with the team as you normally would. Human Resources directory can be found here.

• All other departments within Siemens Hall: Please contact the departments through email or reaching out to individuals directly.
