Coronavirus Information and Updates

Humboldt State University is monitoring the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and closely working with, and following stringent guidelines from, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of California, and Humboldt County health agencies. 

  • There are no confirmed or reported cases at HSU.

  • Classes, assignments, and exams are canceled on March 23-25

  • Classes will be taught in alternative modes starting March 26 to April 17. The campus will remain open and all student services will be available.

  • HSU has suspended all international travel and non-essential domestic travel for the remainder of the Spring semester. This DOES NOT APPLY TO PERSONAL TRAVEL.

  • Effective Monday, March 16 until Friday, April 17 all non-essential social and non-essential academic-related events and activities are suspended. All intercollegiate and Club athletics are canceled for spring semester.
