The seismic retrofit contractor will suspend all work that requires the use of the jackhammer for finals week. Work will be primarily focused on the renovations in the lower level of the Library with reduced noise restrictions in place. 

Any work occurring on the Library will be closely monitored for any noise levels that exceed our restrictions. If noise levels are exceeded the contractor's work practices will be modified, or if compliance levels cannot be achieved tasks will be stopped.
