Conflict of Interest Form 700: Filing for 2020/2021 – HR has Gone to an eDisclosure System

It is that time of year for the annual filing of Statement of Economic Interests (i.e. Form 700) for employees in designated positions and procard users in accordance with the Political Reform Act (CA Gov. Code §81000, et seq.). The CSU Chancellor’s Office has attained system-wide formal approval by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) for all campuses to move to the electronic filing of the Form 700’s.
As a much needed result of this approval, the HSU Office of Human Resources has implemented a 100% electronic filing system for Form 700’s. This new online eDisclosure system will eliminate the costs associated with paper filing which included USPS postage, physical paper filing and HR staff time that has been previously and statutorily unavoidable. This is a welcomed and efficient change that will positively contribute to Humboldt State Universities environmental sustainability initiatives.
What happens next?
Individual Form 700 filers should receive an automatically generated access email from Form700.CSU@southtechhosting.com beginning on Friday, February 26, 2021. This email should contain both your log-in ID and a temporary password along with the link to the https://CSU.southtechhosting.com/eDisclosure/ website.
For HSU Form 700 filer’s convenience, please refer to the Quick Guide – Electronically Filing Your Form 700 (also attached below) for filing your Form 700.
