Community Information Meeting on Proposed Trinity Annex Project

June 29, 2018

Humboldt State University will host a community information meeting on Wednesday, July 11 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the D Street Neighborhood Center in Arcata to discuss the proposed Trinity Annex Project.

The project calls for converting the Trinity Annex complex into a pedestrian and bike friendly area with a surface parking lot and improved access to the existing bus lines. Additionally, there will be approximately 13,000 square feet of greenspace space.

The meeting includes information on the environmental review process for the project and the opportunity for public input to better inform the Environmental Impact Report.

All comments on the project received at the meeting and throughout the Public Review Period (June 26 until 5 p.m., July 25)—required under the California Environmental Quality Act — will be considered and addressed in the Draft Environmental Impact Report. The University plans to release the Draft EIR to the public this summer. Comments may also be mailed or emailed to:
