Common Human Resources (CHRS) Recruiting System Coming in July

February 18, 2021

Dear Humboldt Community,

Common Human Resources System (CHRS) is a term you will hear quite frequently moving forward and refers to a set of system-wide technology initiatives focused on HR effectiveness. CHRS Recruiting is a new recruiting system that falls under this initiative and will make it easier for us to attract, hire, and onboard talented faculty, staff, and represented students. We are embarking on this CSU-wide change now with an anticipated go-live date of July 2021.

What is CHRS Recruiting? In addition to simplifying the recruiting process, CHRS Recruiting will provide a standardized, paperless, end-to-end recruiting process, while allowing campus flexibility for specific business needs.

Who will this affect? This will affect anyone who participates in the hiring process such as: Hiring Managers, Department Coordinators, Search Committees, and Applicants.

How will this affect me? The current recruitment process and forms will be updated in the coming months to transition to a centralized process within CHRS Recruiting powered by PageUp.

Where can I learn more about CHRS? Our CHRS page on the Human Resources/Academic Personnel Services website has been updated with information about the project. We have also created a page for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) which will be updated throughout this project. For additional questions, contact us at chrs-pageup@humboldt.edu.

We look forward to completing this implementation in July 2021. Stay tuned for more CHRS Recruiting project updates!
