Commencement Ceremonies Update

The three College Commencement ceremonies that were scheduled for Friday, May 14 have been consolidated into one ceremony due to low registration numbers. The consolidated ceremony is still well under capacity and will adhere to all public health guidelines. The updated Commencement schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 14
4 p.m.—All Colleges Ceremony

Saturday, May 15
9 a.m.—College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences
12:30 p.m.—College of Natural Resources & Sciences
4 p.m.—College of Professional Studies

As part of the Commencement ceremonies, certain parking lots and roads will be closed on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15. 

  • FS5 behind Founders Hall

  • FS7 by Van Matre Hall

  • Laurel Drive east of B Street

  • Parking area behind Jenkins Hall (Jenkins Lane)

  • Faculty/Staff lot by the Wildlife Care Facility and Kinesiology & Athletics

  • General lot behind the Student Recreation Center

  • Parking area behind Forbes Gym

  • Parking area on Union Street west of Kinesiology & Athletics

  • Union Street north of 17th Street

Thank you to all staff who have signed up to work at the Commencement ceremonies! You are encouraged to join a virtual training session on Wednesday, May 12 at 4 p.m. or watch the recording of the training if you are unable to attend. A walk-through of the ceremonies and description of staffing responsibilities will be shared.

Faculty/Student Marshals and Platform Party rehearsal invitations have been shared with participants separately. There will be no rehearsal or training for general faculty.
