Cinco de Mayo Street Fair
Celebrate culture, community, and tradition at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Street Fair on Tuesday, May 5 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the University Quad. This vibrant campus event brings students and the community together for an afternoon of music, dance, and celebration. Enjoy live performances by Las Cafeteras at 4:30 p.m., along with Mariachi Mar Pacífico and Ballet Folklórico de Humboldt, showcasing rich cultural artistry and energy.
Explore a variety of food trucks, including Almas and Gino’s Pupuseria. Free food will be available for students while supplies last. Connect with campus and community organizations, and browse culture and information booths.
This event is Cal Poly Humboldt’s Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Street Fair and is hosted by El Centro Académico Cultural and the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center. Experience an afternoon filled with music, movement, and meaningful connection as campus and community celebrate Cinco de Mayo together.
