Career & Volunteer Expo

January 30, 2020

The Academic and Career Advising Center (ACAC) and the Center for Community Based Learning (CCBL) are hosting the Career and Volunteer Expo on Thursday, February 13, from 12 to 4 p.m. in the West Gym, Recreation and Wellness Center. The Expo gives students a chance to network with more than 100 organizations about summer jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and full-time career positions. The Expo will also feature a professional photographer providing FREE headshots to students (great for LinkedIn, etc.).

To prepare for the Expo, ACAC is hosting the Career Clothing Closet Boutique Week on Monday, February 3 through Friday, February 7, 9 to 4 p.m. in Gist Hall 120, where students can find FREE, gently-used professional clothing.

ACAC will also offer the Library Skillshop Getting Ready: Career and Volunteer Expo on Wednesday, February 12, from 4 to  4:50 p.m., in Library 114.

Students are also encouraged to bring their resumes to the Academic and Career Advising Center's Drop-in Hours, Monday through Friday, from 10 to 1 p.m. in Gist Hall 114 for a quick resume review.
