Campus-Wide Public Alert System Testing

June 14, 2018

On Friday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to approximately noon, University Police will be testing the Emergency Public Alert System (EPAS), a series of speakers and strobe lights strategically placed across campus to alert the campus community in case of an emergency.

Those on campus, especially those outdoors, can expect to hear emergency alert tones and a test message, and see flashing lights. No further action from the community is required.

In case of a real emergency, call 826-INFO(4636), tune into KHSU 90.5, or head to humboldt.edu/emergency for additional information following an EPAS warning after taking proper protective action.
