Cross-Campus Collaboration Courses are Back!
Registration is now open for the Spring series of Cross-Campus Collaboration classes. This is a unique opportunity to take professional & personal development from other campuses with the added bonus of getting to know people.

CSU Learn Courses
- Artificial Intelligence: Types of Artificial Intelligence - This course covers simple and complex types of AI (artificial intelligence) available in today's market. In it, you will explore theories of mind research, self-aware AI, artificial narrow intelligence, artificial general intelligence, and artificial super intelligence.
- Leadercamp On-Demand: Strategies for Navigating Difficult Conversations - This leadercamp provides a practical framework to help leaders engage in challenging but necessary discussions. Are you looking to become a more effective leader? Through engaging activities like poll questions and reflective exercises, participants will gain hands-on experience applying these strategies to real-world scenarios.
- Best Practices for Supporting Survivors of Sexualized Violence - Do you know what to do when a student discloses that they have experienced rape, stalking, domestic violence or sexual assault? Do you know your legal responsibilities as an employee of Cal Poly Humboldt? Do you know how to bridge student survivors to established support?
- Dealing with Triggers - A trigger is when we react to a current situation with feelings and emotions from a prior negative experience. Learn how to overcome your triggers by addressing, processing, and resolving them.
- A Culture of Connection: Finding Our Heartbeat Through Engagement & Belonging - Forbes and Harvard both describe lack of connection to colleagues and the "bigger picture" as the leading reason for dissatisfaction in the workplace. Through idea sharing, interactive activities, and observation of the positive change that belonging and engagement can bring to the workplace through data, the aim of this session is to find our common Heartbeat, and emphasize connection that goes beyond our title of "employee."
- How to Bring Your Best Self to Work - This presentation addresses the importance of bringing your best self to work. It emphasizes strategies to enhance job performance, improve relationships and contribute positively to the workforce.
- Weekly Dose of Mindfulness - Weekly Dose of Mindfulness is an opportunity for all CSU community members to experience guided mindfulness practices with a trained facilitator.
- Identity-First and People-First Language Within the Disability Community - In this workshop with ARPE professor and disability scholar Toni Saia, we will discuss both of these options to help faculty and staff understand how to be better allies and avoid ableist practices.
- AI Playtime: Exploring AI for Work, Wellness, and Creativity - This hands-on, interactive session will introduce participants to AI tools that can enhance productivity, streamline tasks, and support personal wellness.
- Budgeting Made Easy to Meet your Money Milestones - By identifying short- mid- and long-term goals, you can create a realistic spending and savings plan. Also find smart ways to save on the things that impact your finances most. Presented by SF State HR in partnership with Patelco Credit Union.
- Breath and Health - Have you ever experienced how altering the pattern you breathe improves your state of mind? Come experience the intimate link between our breath and our emotions.
- Emotional Intelligence - Emotional intelligence is the awareness and management of your own emotions and others. This training will provide information on ways to develop emotional intelligence and how it applies to leadership and cross-cultural interactions.
- Empower Your Mind: Transform Negative Thought Patterns - Explore practical strategies for identifying beliefs and attitudes that hinder personal growth and productivity and contribute to stress, frustration, and depression.
- Streamlining Workplace Learning: Practical Applications of Articulate Rise - In this workshop, we’ll showcase how we used Articulate Rise to develop an employee onboarding course and transform an in-person training into a highly interactive online course on Equitable Hiring Practices.
- Foundations of Change Management: What You Need to Know - This workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of change management, focusing on understanding its principles, the importance of adapting to change, and the role of employee engagement.
- CSU's Got Talent - The Power of Empathy in Our Interactions with Others - The webinar discusses original research, demonstrating how individuals can respond empathically in conversations with diverse others to cultivate compassion in organizational settings.
