APC (Unit 4) Employees – Compensation Increases Effective July 1, 2014
Highlights of Salary Program Effective July 1, 2014
· 3% General Salary Increase (GSI)
· Salary range minimums and maximums increased by 3%
· GSI retroactive to July 1, 2014
· Retroactive checks will begin to issue during the first week of December, 2014
· Base salary increases will show on pay warrants issued January 1, 2015
· Increases for employees who are less than full time will be paid pro-rata
APC (Unit 4) employees eligible are:
· In active pay status as of July 1, 2014;
· In active pay status as of June 30, 2014 and who received subsequent appointment at the same campus during fiscal year 2014/15; or
· In active pay status as of June 30, 2014 in a non-Unit 4 classification and were reassigned back into a Unit 4 classification between July 1, 2014 and September 9, 2014. In this instance, the GSI will be the same effective date as the date of reassignment into the Unit 4 classification.
· All other newly hired Unit 4 employees, other than those specified above, employed on or after July 1, 2014 are not eligible for the increase.
Eligible APC employees in active pay status as of July 1, 2014 will receive a 3% General Salary Increase (GSI). The General Salary Increase (GSI) will post on the night of December 2, 2014 and will show on the December pay warrant issued January 1, 2015. All eligible active employees will receive the GSI retroactive to July 1, 2014. Payroll warrants (paper warrants and direct deposits) for the retroactive portion of the salary increase (July – November, 2014) will begin to issue as early as the first week in December 2014.
Employees appointed between July 1, 2014 and December 2, 2014 whose salary rate is below the new minimum after the application of the 3% GSI will have their salary rate increased to the new salary range minimum.
