Annual Campus Wide Fire Alarm System Testing July 31-August 16

Facilities Management has scheduled the annual required testing of the building fire alarm systems within all campus buildings for July 31 - August 16, 2019, from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. 

During the testing of the fire alarms, technicians will be activating smoke detectors and pull stations throughout the building. At the end of the testing, there will be a final audible test of the bells and strobes. The bells will sound for approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on building size. Building occupants will NOT need to exit the building. 

Testing will begin in all campus dorms with academic buildings to follow. Please notify Facilities Customer Service if there is an event that can not be interrupted and we will do our best to schedule around it.
