 Humboldt State Athletics is excited to announce its 39th Annual Swing for the Jacks Tom Wood Golf Classic. The event will be held at Baywood Golf & Country Club in Arcata on Saturday, May 22 with a shotgun/scramble start at 10:00 a.m.

 Formerly known as the Hoopsters Golf Tournament, this exciting annual event has been renamed in honor of legendary Hall of Famer Tom Wood. Beginning with the first Hoopsters Golf Tournament in 1983, Coach Wood worked tirelessly to create a competitive and entertaining day on the green for Lumberjack supporters. Our event aspires to follow in the tradition created by Coach Wood, while growing and enhancing it for future generations.

 We invite you to join us for a memorable day of golf, food and beverages. We look forward to seeing you on the green!

Fee includes: green fee, cart rental, driving range & balls, BBQ lunch, pin prizes, and team awards

DRESS CODE

We are honored to host our tournament at Baywood Golf and Country Club; therefore, proper attire is required: 

• Shirts must have sleeves and collars for males. No T-shirts or tank tops are allowed.
• Sleeveless blouses are permitted for females. No halter tops or bare midriffs allowed.
• No short shorts, athletic shorts, spandex pants, or cutoffs allowed. As a guide, shorts should be no shorter than mid-thigh.
• Shoes must be worn at all times.
