2025 Campus Wide Fire Alarm Testing
Facilities Management has scheduled the annual required testing of fire alarm systems in major campus and housing buildings for July 14–18 and July 21–25, 2024, between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
During the testing, technicians will activate smoke detectors and pull stations throughout each building. At the end of the testing, there will be a final audible/visual test of the bells and strobes. The bells and strobes will activate for approximately 15–30 minutes, depending on the size of the building.
A detailed building testing schedule will be issued prior to July 11. If there are any scheduling conflicts, please notify Facilities Customer Service, and we will do our best to adjust the schedule accordingly. Every effort will be made to schedule bell and strobe testing outside of scheduled classes or conferences to minimize disruptions.
