Dear Campus Community,

Facilities Management is pleased to announce that the Redwood Bowl will be receiving a new synthetic turf Multisport playing surface this summer.

To accommodate construction activities, the Redwood Bowl will be closed from June 15 through August 1, 2026. During this period, access to the field and surrounding work area will be restricted to authorized personnel only.

In addition, a section of the parking area located north of the Student Recreation Center (G33) will be closed for contractor staging, equipment, and material storage throughout the project duration. Please plan accordingly and utilize alternative parking areas during this time.

This project is part of the University's ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving campus athletic facilities. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete these important upgrades.
