Our University continues to address our share of state cuts to the CSU system, and other budget impacts. In response to this anticipated deficit, each division on campus is actively engaged in budget reduction planning scenarios. We are also considering various reduction strategies, including a Voluntary Separation Incentive Program.

The University is committed to fulfilling its obligation to bargain with the affected unions. Once concluded, we will provide the campus community with updates on the program. I am grateful for the amazing campus engagement around these efforts.
