Arcata Fire Department (AFD) will be performing training in the old Children's Center houses off of 14th street this weekend. AFD will be practicing entering locked buildings and search and rescue techniques. This is a great opportunity for our campus to support our local first responders. AFD will not be burning anything during this training but they might utilize simulated smoke to support their training.
