Please join me on Tuesday, December 17, to offer our very best wishes to Dr. Alex Enyedi, who has served as our Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs for the past four years. Alex will soon be leaving HSU to become the 11th President of the State University of New York, Plattsburgh.

The reception will be held on December 17 at 4:00 p.m. at Septentrio Winery, 650 Sixth Street, Arcata, with a few remarks at about 4:30 p.m.

Alex has played a key role in strategic planning, budget development, and collaborative efforts both within Academic Affairs and between the academic units and other areas of the University.

I hope you can stop by on Tuesday to express appreciation to Alex -- and to wish him the best of luck in his new adventures as President of SUNY Plattsburgh.
