URPC Information Sharing Meeting on 12/6 from 3-5 in KBR
The University Resources and Planning Committee (URPC) will host an information sharing meeting on Thursday, December 6th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in KBR. The URPC plans to share important information about the 2018-2019 HSU Operating Fund Budget (Revenues and Expenditures), highlight related initiatives and activities underway, update progress on Graduation Initiative 2025, and have a forthright conversation about our current budget situation and the challenges that lie ahead for our campus community in 2019-2020.
While substantial progress has been made on budget reductions, early indications show enrollment could be significantly lower next year (as compared to Fall 2018). This information sharing meeting provides an initial venue for us to come together, to better understand where we are and what we are facing, and continue the dialogue regarding how we collectively move forward and meet our financial challenges with a student-centered lens.
