ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Shakti Butler, PhD, filmmaker and Founder & President of World Trust, is a dynamic educator in the field of diversity and racial equity. This workshop uses clips from Dr. Butler’s current film project, Cracking the Codes: Race & Relationships in the 21st Century, as a catalyst for transformative learning. The system of racialization is presented through a holistic framework. This session frames a unique analysis that promotes dialogue and union between the head and heart and applies it to social change.
