Humboldt Loyalty Grants Now Available– 3rd Annual Donor Voice Program Helps Select Grantees
Thanks to the generosity of thousands of Humboldt Loyalty Fund and Humboldt Parents & Family Fund donors, Humboldt Loyalty Grants are available again this year to support important programs across campus. The University estimates there will be funding available for about 8-10 projects in the 2016/2017 academic year, with up to $20,000 available per project.
Projects funded last year include:
- Founders Hall Seating Areas
- Collaborative Research Stations
- Conversion of NR 203 into a Student Geospatial Homework Lab
- Computers for Geospatial Lab
- Renovation of Science D, Room 19 (Most popular project according to donors)
- Cameras for 3D Digital Motion Capture in Biomechanics Lab
- Literacy Software
In addition to the projects above, parent donors Richard and Sandy Lambie funded a proposal for State of the Art Psychological Testing Instruments.
The donor rankings from Donor Voice are compiled and submitted to the Deans and Vice Presidents. Deans and Vice Presidents consider the input from donors along with their own recommendations. They then submit a final ranking of projects to President Rossbacher who will make funding allocations by the end of April.
