In celebration of the holiday season, Governor Brown has authorized a half-day informal time off on Thursday, December, 24. In addition, I am approving a half-day administrative leave that day, and many campus offices will not be operational for the entire day.

The campus will need a limited number of essential personnel to work that day. Your appropriate administrator will notify you if you fall into that category. Those assigned to work on December. 24 will be able to make arrangements for an informal day off before June 30, 2016.

I hope you will enjoy this additional time to relax and spend time with family and friends. I look forward to working with you in the new year.
