Humboldt State University will have a candlelight vigil to remember the victims of last year’s bus accident and those affected by the tragedy.
The vigil will be held at Founder’s Hall Courtyard on Friday, April 10, at approximately 5 p.m. Open to all, the ceremony will include a moment of silence, and the dedication of plaque to honor those who lost their lives in the charter bus accident on Interstate 5 near Orland, Calif.

HSU has continued to provide support to those affected by the accident, particularly the 24 students who chose to enroll at the University.
The support includes $1,000 annual scholarship during their time at HSU, made possible by gifts from over 600 individuals who made donations following the accident.
