For any travel taking place on or after Jan. 1, 2015, there have been changes to the allowable expense rates:

• The maximum rate for hotel has increased from $175 to $195 per night (excluding tax)
• Mileage reimbursement rate:
  • Increased from 57 cents to 57.5 cents per mile for travel
  • Decreased from 23.5 cents to 23 cents per mile for moving expenses
