The search committee invites you to attend the open forums for candidates for the directorship of the Center for Community-Based Learning (CCBL), the third of these candidate forums is occurring on February 23rd.

Candidate Jennifer Harpring will offer a short presentation followed by time for questions. The prompt for the open forums is, “How will you inspire and motivate our constituencies—administration, faculty, students, community partners—to engage in community-based learning?”

Reporting to the AVP of Academic Programs, the director oversees all facets of CCBL program development and management, including strategic planning, initiatives, and development of community-based learning practices grounded in a commitment to diversity, equity, and social and environmental justice. The CCBL plays a vital role in the promotion and coordination of service learning, academic internships, and other community- and civic-engagement practices here at Cal Poly Humboldt.
