You are invited to the UC-CSU Environmental & Climate Change Literacy Project

November 30, 2022

The UC–CSU Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects (ECCLPs) is an innovative partnership between the UC and CSU systems along with community-based partners (CBPs), to advance prekindergarten through 12th grade (PK–12) climate and environmental literacy, justice and action. The ECCLPs Executive Committee is seeking partnerships and collaborations by launching various ECCLPs Climate and Environmental Justice Literacy Initiatives. Our collective goal is to educate all of California’s high school graduates to be literate in climate change and environmental justice issues and solutions.

Please join Kelley Lê, Executive Director, ECCLPs and Dr. Jennifer Ortega, Faculty-Environmental Science & Management, Cal Poly Humboldt,  to learn about ECCLPs and opportunities for relevant UCSF departments, faculty, staff, and regional partners on December 7 at 11:00–11:50am via Zoom

Cal Poly Humboldt faculty and staff involved in PK–12 pre- and in-service education as well as climate and environmental research and evaluation may be interested in formal ECCLPs participation. Check out this webpage for more information about campus meeting goals and outcomes.

Please complete this registration form if you plan to attend the meeting or if you would only like to receive the meeting recording with follow up information about how to get involved.

Feel free to direct any questions to Dr. Lê at Kelley.Le@uci.edu.
