Turn Your Course Content into a Game!
Ready to bring more play, challenge, and collaboration into your classroom? Join a six-session Professional Learning Community led by Kathleen Mercury, MAT, MET—educator and professional tabletop game designer—and learn how to transform a course objective into an engaging learning game or simulation. Through hands-on play, rapid prototyping, playtesting, and peer feedback, you’ll build practical game-design skills and create an experience you can use with your students.
Sessions meet six Thursdays from 5–7 p.m. in HGH 105: October 1, 15, and 29; November 12; and December 3 and 17. Up to 10 participants will be selected, and those who attend at least five sessions will receive a $200 stipend. Apply by September 18, 2026. Selected participants will be notified by September 22.
