Sustainability Practitioner Questionnaire

October 29, 2018

Faculty members of all colleges, please take this very brief survey!

The Office of Sustainability and the Centers for Community Based Learning and Academic and Career Advising have partnered to develop a resource for faculty, and we would like your input.

Soon we will be reaching out to the local sustainability community to identify professionals interested in being guest speakers, project mentors, service learning or internship hosts, or otherwise support learning in sustainability inside and outside the classroom. We will then publish (and continuously update) a Directory of Local Sustainability Practitioners, so that faculty can easily access local expertise that matches course content, learning objectives and career exploration.

But first, we want to better understand HSU faculty preferences for interacting with local sustainability practitioners - zero net energy building designers, alternative transportation planners, habitat restoration professionals, environmental educators, creative re-use artists, social justice advocates, organic farmers, and resilient community builders working to resolve critical economic, social and environmental challenges.

Please complete the survey by Friday, November 9th. Questions? Please contact Morgan King (Office of Sustainability) at mpk9@humboldt.edu, or Loren Collins (Center for Community Based Learning) at lmc12@humboldt.edu.
