Strike for Peace!
Join us on April 24 from 1–2 PM in the SAC 131 Banquet Room for a screening of Strike for Peace!, a powerful film documenting the 1970 student-led protests at Humboldt State College. Sparked by opposition to the Vietnam War and the Kent State shootings, thousands of students organized one of the largest nonviolent demonstrations in the country’s history. Come reflect on this pivotal moment of campus activism and its lasting relevance today.
Featured in the documentary and on the panel are Wesley Chesboro (former CA State Senator), Zach Zwerdling (Attorney), and the film producer, Ray Olson.
