The purpose of this Inclusivity Conference is to center the needs of faculty of color at Humboldt State University. Faculty of color bring important and diverse perspectives to the university, enriching the learning experience for all our students, strengthening the scholarship of the university, and making our institution a better place to work for all of us. At the same time, they grapple with multiple and intersecting challenges due to structural barriers to their thriving and success at HSU. Over two days, faculty at HSU are invited to participate in a series of open conversations about what the university needs to do to help faculty of color succeed, thrive, and feel safe at HSU.
