The History Department, in conjunction with Humboldt County Historical Society and Humboldt Asian & Pacific Islanders in Solidarity, invite you to a free screening of the documentary “Samurai in the Oregon Sky” and discussion with director Ilana Sol. The film explores one of the only Japanese attacks on a U.S. state (Oregon) during World War II and the aftereffects on a small community in Oregon. Questions? Email histdept@humboldt.edu.
