CAHSSA is the California Alliance for Hispanic-serving Social Science Advancement (CAHSSA). It is a collaboration among the campuses of the California State University (CSU) and the University of California (UC). CAHSSA works to align social science research initiatives with the Hispanic-serving mission of the majority of institutions of higher education in California through research and programs for faculty and academic leaders.
ABOUT: Join CAHSSA on March 2nd for its Academic and Research Leaders event, “Advancing Social Science Research: Strategies to Expand External Funding.” Guest-speakers will present on the successful strategies and programming they have utilized to facilitate an increase of external grant-seeking in the social sciences on their campuses, followed by an interactive large-group discussion. Chief research officers, deans, and department chairs are highly encouraged to register and attend.
