Created and facilitated by Marisol Ruiz, the PTEP program explores how education can be transformational by providing multiple hands-on opportunities that provide critical insight into the always changing world of education. These opportunities are designed to support the development of specialized knowledge, skills and perspectives that will teach students how to incorporate culturally sustaining pedagogies and counter-narratives into curriculum development to build educational experiences that are driven by students' personal and cultural strengths. You will have the opportunity to see historical sites, visit Hoopa Elementary, and museums. 

Every Promotorx that completes the entire Summer program will receive a sizable stipend applied to their financial aid!
