Phone System Information - Important Message
Dear Campus Phone Users,
If you receive a message on your phone for ‘Congestion*’ while making a phone call, please wait a few minutes and try it again. The ‘Congestion’ message means that there are more people trying to use the system at one time then there is capacity. If you still have the ‘Congestion’ message after a few minutes, please wait a few more minutes and try again.
If after a period of time, you are still not able to dial out, please send an email to netops@humboldt.edu and let us know the Area code and prefix if you are trying to dial a long distance number or the prefix for a local number. It can help us pin point if there is an issue.
Thanks and best regards,
Lisa Lewis
