The Learning Center's academic support in the Library begins the week of August 28, including writing support, tutoring, and academic peer coaching. Supplemental Instruction (SI) begins the first week of classes; students can register for SI now through regular registration. Several classes have added SI support: History 110, Statistics 109, Statistics 108, and Physics 109.

Writing Studio - writing support for any stage of the writing process; by appointment and drop-in
Tutoring - drop-in tutoring daytime and evenings; limited tutoring by appointment
Academic Coaching - time management, organization, and study skills support, by appointment
Supplemental Instruction - bi-weekly peer-led sessions to practice content in a collaborative environment; students register for 198 SI classes

In addition to daytime and evening support through the Center, Humboldt students now have free access to weekend and after-hours online tutoring and writing support through NetTutor for most introductory courses.
