The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced National Hispanic-Serving Institutions week to be observed September 12-18, 2022. The observance takes place during National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, celebrated September 15 through October 15.

National HSI Week celebrates and builds awareness of the work and important role played in improving access to education, advancing equity practices, and the contributions in their communities. National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month celebrates the contributions made by Latinxs to the United States that have helped shape our future. Cal Poly Humboldt prides itself in celebrating the efforts made by the Latinx community by providing access to what is necessary to help achieve heights of greatness while also serving the community.
