CSU QOLT Call for Participation


To all faculty teaching online or hybrid courses (30%+ online) in Fall 14 and/or Spring 15,

 

The CSU Quality Online Learning & Teaching (QOLT) Program invites you to submit your online/hybrid course to be recognized by the CSU Chancellor's Office in the QOLT 14/15 Recognition Program.


What is QOLT?

QOLT is a process designed to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of blended and online courses, as well as to recognize exemplary practices in online learning and teaching.


What is the Timeline?

All submissions are due by May 15, 2015


How do I get Started?

  1. Select one course (Fall 2014 or Spring 2015)

  2. Complete the online self-evaluation*: QOLT Course Assessment – Faculty Self Ratings (about 1 hour)

  3. Post a link in your course (or email link) for students to submit an evaluation (or email the link to students for Fall 14 courses): QOLT Student Ratings Instrument

  4. Campus Coordinator will lead the QOLT Peer-Review for HSU recognition and submit one course for further recognition at the CSU level.
