Getting the Most from Moodle Post-Move

May 24, 2016
Thank you all for your patience while we moved Moodle to four new servers last Friday. We did run into a small problem for off-campus users due to a firewall setting, but was resolved on Saturday morning and the newly redistributed Moodle is now available to everyone. Here are a few things to take note of that will improve your Moodle experience even more:
  • Clear your browser cache before you access Moodle for the first time after this change
  • If you had the TurnItIn Originality Monitor block visible in your course, you will need to add it back in; it will then continue to work in the same way.
  • We've added the Zoom tool and updated our TurningTechnologies Cloud (Clicker) tool; this will be officially announced in the fall.
We also invite you to join the Moodle Users Group (MUG) to keep up-to-date on Moodle developments in support of learning and teaching at HSU.

If you experience anything unexpected after the change, or have questions, please email help@humboldt.edu or submit a Help Desk ticket atwww.humboldt.edu/tech-help.
