Creating an Engaging Discussion Activity: Part 2

In this workshop, we will continue to explore the Canvas Discussion tool as a way to support student engagement and learning. Discuss ways to promote substantive, interesting discussions among students that address student learning outcomes at different points in the semester. Resources will be shared. (You do not need to have participated in Part 1 to join this session.)

Get to Know Canvas New Features

Have you ever wondered about the new features in Canvas? Are you teaching this summer or want to get a peek at what will be new in Canvas next fall? This 30-minute workshop will introduce you to the feature options page in Canvas and we will look at the new Rich Content Editor which will be mandatory on May 20th. There will be several other features that we will look at including the New Quizzes tool.
