To better reflect the majors and offerings within the Department of Forestry and Wildland Resources, as well as increase visibility and recognition of the Range Management degree to potentially improve enrollment in this critical major, approval has been granted to officially change the name of the Department of Forestry and Wildland Resources to the Department of Forestry, Fire and Rangeland Management, effective September 21, 2022.
The degree programs housed within the newly named department will remain unchanged and are as follows: B.S. in Forestry; B.S. Rangeland Resource Science; and a B.S starting in fall 2023 in Fire Science and Management
