CSUPERB: Presidents' Commission Scholars Summer UG Research

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Fall 2015 Presidents' Commission Scholars program is now open.

Proposal Deadline:  February 11, 2015 before 5:00 P.M. pacific time
Award Notification:  April, 2015

CSUPERB plans to support up to 11 undergraduate biotechnology-related research experiences during the 2015 summer.


The Presidents' Commission Scholars program will make $8000 grants to CSU student/faculty teams.  Up to 2000 of the budget is available for supplies, equipment and travel; the remainder of the budget is in the form of an unqualified scholarship for the students' academic and living expenses.

Please share this announcement to all CSU faculty and students involved or interested in biotechnology-related laboratory, field, clinical or community-based research on your campus.  CSUPERB welcomes and encourages applications from all related disciplines, including but not limited to life, physical, clinical, agricultural and computer sciences, engineering, math and entrepreneurship/business.
