Candidate talks for Global Politics position

Four candidates for a tenure-track Global Politics position in the Department of Politics will be visiting campus on the dates listed below. Please consider attending the candidates’ teaching demonstrations and providing feedback to the department.  

  • Friday, January 25:  Dr. Tani Sebro, teaching demonstration 10-11am in Founders Hall 236 -- "The Politics of Exile, Mobility, and Nationalism along the Thai-Myanmar Border."
  • Friday, February 1: Dr. Jared Larson, teaching demonstration 10-11am in Founders Hall 204 -- “The Iberian Outliers: Resisting Right-Wing Populism in Europe.”
  • Monday, February 4: Dr. Melanie Meinzer, teaching demonstration 10-11am in Founders Hall 025 – “Decolonizing Foreign Aid: Critical International Relations Theory, Education, and Resistance.”
  • Thursday, February 7: Dr. Malliga Och, teaching demonstration 10-11am in Library Fishbowl -- "Cities for CEDAW [Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women]."
