Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam is back! Save the date!
The Office of Graduate Studies would like to invite you to the 2026 Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam, a graduate student research competition taking place on Thursday, April 2nd from 2:00 - 4:00pm in Goodwin Forum (Nelson Hall East 102).
The Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam celebrates the exciting research being conducted by our graduate students. Graduate students will present their research in a 3-minute presentation. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three presenters. The top two presenters will have the option to represent Cal Poly Humboldt at the (virtual) CSU-Wide Grad Slam Competition on Friday, May 1st, 2026.
If you are an active master's student conducting independent research, it is not too late to submit an application to participate! The submission deadline is Friday, March 27th at 5:00pm.
Everyone in the campus community is welcome to watch the presentations and support our grad students as they share their cutting-edge, barrier-breaking, potentially world-changing research. Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
