Immediate Access Sign Up Deadline Extended
Faculty still have time to switch from a traditional textbook to Cal Poly Humboldt's Immediate Access program.
We are extending the deadline until May 22, 2026.
If you've already adopted your Follett textbook for Fall 2026, you can easily change it to our successful digital and textbook Immediate Access program.
The program provides:
- Huge savings to students—Students saved an average of $141.95 each this Spring ’26 semester, over $80K in total savings. The program offers savings over online third—party publishers too.
- Immediate Access allows students to opt out up to the course add/drop date--we’ve only had a 1-2.5% opt out rate for the past 3 semesters.
- Immediate Access ensures students have online digital access to course materials in Canvas prior to the start of classes—a win for you and students to have materials in place on day one for instruction and accessible online with the ability to also download information in Canvas for portability.
- Our new Kortext reader is a leading industry program that provides conversion of text to speech with voice and speed controls, text and background personalization, and display options.
- Students don’t need to find textbooks or materials—when they register for a class in the Immediate Access program--materials are automatically set up in Canvas and billing is charged to their student account where financial aid can cover.
