The Umoja Center for Pan African Student Excellence invites our on- and off-campus community for a timely discussion with educator, author, and activitst, Dr. Loretta Ross. During this event, Dr. Ross will share her framework for turning difficult conversations into productive ones, as it is discussed in her book, Calling In: How to Start Making Change with Those You'd Rather Cancel. Dr. Ross blends both her personal experiences and professional expertise to share important and impactful tools for managing disagreements with those we are in community with.

Join us in the Kate Buchanan Room (Gutswurrak Student Activity Center) on Wednesday, February 11 from 5:30-7p! Light bites and refreshments provided. Pre-register here for the chance to win a free t-shirt!

The Umoja Center is proud and excited to invite Dr. Ross to our campus and grateful to the various departments the sponsored her visit inclusing, Housing and Residence Life, ODEI, Enrollment Management & Student Success, and the CRGS department. We look forward to sharing space with you!
