I am pleased to announce that Timothy (Tim) Thomas has joined the Academic Programs team as our new University Scheduling and Support Analyst after an extensive search for the position. He will begin his role today, on October 31, 2024. 

Tim has worked at Cal Poly Humboldt since January 2023, and held positions as an academic Advisor, in addition to teaching in the Biology Department. Tim worked at CSU Monterey Bay before joining Cal Poly Humboldt. He has gained a wide variety of knowledge and skills in scheduling with a unique student-centered lens as he has helped students build their schedules over the last 2-years. These skills will help him transition to the role of University Scheduler where his main priority will be to lead, support and coordinate the academic and centralized course scheduling of our university, ensuring efficient and effective use of student and faculty time, campus space and facilities.
