CSU-wide Competition: Friday, May 5, 2023 at San Jose State University (in-person)

Award: Up to $25,000 in Startup Funds

The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce Cal Poly Humboldt’s participation in the 2023 Sunstone CSU Startup Launch Competition! The competition is a groundbreaking partnership between the CSU system and Sunstone Management, an international investment firm based in Long Beach, designed to showcase the entrepreneurial strength of CSU students and programs by awarding seed funding to innovative startups.

With Cal Poly Humboldt’s local pitch competition, two teams will be selected to represent the university and compete against other CSU teams at San José State University on May 5, 2023. Mentorship and support will be provided for selected teams.

Campus coordinators will be holding an informational session this Wednesday 3/29 from 5:00-6:00pm in SH 115.
